    5. Medical Certificate from the University  Medical Services and Hospital Division/Infirmary
    6. 2 pieces of 2×2 photo with name-tag
    7. 1 long brown envelope with plastic transparent envelope

Transferees:

    1. Honorable Dismissal/Transfer Certificate
    2. Transcript of Records or Evaluation of Grades (signed by the Registrar)
    3. Certificate of Good Moral Character
    4. Birth Certificate (PSA-SECPA authenticated)
    5. SASE/CET Report of Rating (for transferees from non-MSU Campuses)
    6. 2 pieces of 2×2 ID photo with name-tag

Second Degree Applicant:

Note: The student applicant must comply and submit the above requirements to the Office of Admissions upon confirmation of acceptance from the degree-granting College/Unit. Graduate and post-graduate programs are subject to Graduate School Admission Policies & Guidelines.


Tuition Fees and Other School Fees

Starting First Semester Academic Year 2018-2019, MSU has fully implemented RA 10931 or the Access to Quality Higher Education (or the Free Tuition Law). All MSU officially enrolled full-time undergraduate students in the University are no longer required to pay the tuition and other miscellaneous fees.

However, repeat subjects will still be paid in accordance with the approved policy of P100.00 per unit.

The College of Law and Graduate students are not covered by the Free Tuition Law (RA 10931) and collects tuition and other necessary school fees that are consistent with the approved policies. The following financial obligations should be carefully noted and taken into account in the budget expenses for the semester or academic year during which they are done, to wit:

  1. P 300.00 Application for Graduation
  2. P 100.00 Diploma / Diploma Folder P 150.00
  3. Annual Yearbook (Darangen) P 550.00
  4. An NSTP fee of P 50.00 must be paid each semester for two semesters during the first two years. Students are supposed to enroll the said subjects as prescribed in their curriculum
  5. Alumni fee P 200.00
  6. Rental (Cap and Gown) P 50.00

Special Fees

The following fees are imposed under certain conditions:

  1. P 100.00 – fine for late registration per day but not to exceed 10 days
  2. P 20.00 – change in matriculation involving and additional subject substitution of one subject for another, or dropping of a subject
  3. P 20.00 – validating test taken outside the regular period for validation per subject
  4. P 10.00 – laboratory deposit for loss or breakage of University property (refundable)
  5. P 50.00 – transcript fee per page
  6. P 50.00 – certification for graduation
  7. P 30.00 – certification of enrollment for one semester only, etc.
  8. P 20.00 – for certification not covered by any rules

Note: All amounts for the special fees shall be subject for revision and subsequent approval of the APC or the BOR.  Meanwhile, all expenses and fees above mentioned are waived in compliance to the Universal Access to Free Tertiary Education Act otherwise known as RA 10931.


The MSU SASE

  • The MSU SASE (System and Admission Scholarship Exam) is a non-negotiable requirement for all forms of admissions, scholarship and study grants in the MSU System. The exam is administered once a year, during the First Semester, for graduating senior high school students who want to enroll in the University the succeeding year.

  • SASE Scores: The MSU Marawi Campus adopts the following SASE cut-off scores for admission during the AY 2013-2014

  • The Summer CBP: The College Bound program (CBP) is a summer remedial program designed for Muslim students and Mindanao Lumads who obtained a SASE score of 55-74. The Tribe (Muslim or Lumad) must be indicated in the SASE rating. If they pass the CBP, they qualify for admission in the regular 4 or 5 years degree progtants the following semester. The Top CBP participants may be awarded CBP Study Grant.

  • Requirements for Enrollment in the Summer CBP:
    1. MSU-SASE Report of Rating
    2. Senior High School Report Card/Form138A (Original)
    3. Certificate of Good Moral Character
    4. Enrollment Fee of P400.00
    5. Workbooks for English and Math (sold in the University Book Center)
    6. 2 pieces of of 2×2 ID photo.

Students who obtained scores below 50 may retake the SASE after one academic year.
