The Office of the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs scheduled the Oath-Taking Ceremony for newly-hired faculty members last October 21, 2019 at 7:30 A.M. after the flag raising ceremony in front of Antonio Isidro Hall. More than sixty newly hired faculty from different colleges and external units took their oaths in front of MSU employees. It was administered by the Vice Chancellor Dr. Florencio Recolito Jr. in behalf of President Habib Macaayong.
Different applicants underwent the rigorous stages of the selection process under the scrutiny of the panel members. They were ranked and chosen according to their credentials, teaching demonstrations and how they answered tough questions thrown by the panel members. More than a hundred experienced and fresh graduate applicants from different institutions applied but only sixty-three lucky applicants were chosen to be part of MSU’s faculty force. Most of them are master’s degree holders and two of them are doctorate degree holders.
Vice chancellor Florencio Recolito Jr. gave an inspirational message and the response was given by Dr. Jamil Cayamodin and Professor Sharisse May Barra.
