MSU initiates an On-the-Air Program on Global Events and Issues

An on-the-air program on international/global events and issues was initiated by the Mindanao State University in Marawi City, which started last August 2018 conducted twice a week in the University FM Radio Station 94.1 MHz.

Resource speakers coming from the different colleges and units of the University discussed relevant topics, sharing their expertise on international/ global events and issues affecting humanity today.

The topics previously discussed in the said on-the-air program included the following:

1. The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN);

2. The United Nation Organization (UNO);

3. The Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) and other relevant topics.

The conduct of the said academic community extension activity is guaranteed the sustained support of MSU System President Habib W. Macaayong. The said program is facilitated by Mr. Ishan S. Amaonoddin, the University FM Radio Station Manager and its supportive and competent staff. Dr. Juliet T. Mendoza, the Presidential Assistant for International Linkaging of the Office of the President, and faculty of the Department of International Relations of KFCIAAS MSU serves as coordinator and moderator of the said community extension service of the University for the concerned constituents in MSU-Main Campus and the neighboring communities.
